Receipt
Hint 1 — Receipt
Read the Evidence Collection Form and the Autopsy Report carefully.
Hint 2 — Receipt
The Autopsy Report says Odessa suffered sharp force injuries up to 14 cm deep (which is equivalent to 5.5 inches) and was likely dragged by her ankles.
The Evidence Collection Form says DNA on the receipt matched the foreign DNA on Odessa's ankles.
Hint 3 — Receipt
The foreign DNA on Odessa's ankles is from the killer (because Odessa was dragged by her ankles) and matches the DNA on the receipt. The receipt is the killer's.
Also, the receipt shows the killer purchased a 5.5" knife, which matches the depth of Odessa’s wounds. They purchased it the day they killed Odessa and discarded the receipt outside the ballet studio. This knife is most likely the murder weapon.

Solution — Receipt
Ella can be eliminated because she couldn't have purchased the knife Odessa's killer purchased.
The knife was purchased on January 13th, 2023, at Whisk and Willow (see the receipt). The "Shoplifter Wall of Shame" photograph shows Ella was caught shoplifting at Whisk and Willow in 2021 and banned from the store. The receipt has the killer's DNA. The receipt isn't Ella's, so Ella's not the killer.

Hint 1 — Lacelle Brochure

Hint 2 — Lacelle Brochure
A tag and a pink card were found inside the pink shoe bag.
The pink card is a tarot card — the Kensington Chronicle has an ad for a tarot card reading, and the cards in the ad resemble the pink card.
If you're still not sure who the pink shoe bag belongs to, check the En Pointe Toronto Ballet featured dancers brochure.
Hint 3 — Lacelle Brochure
The pink shoe bag is Leonie's. The featured dancers brochure says Leonie is into tarot cards, and there was a tarot card in the shoe bag.
The tag in the shoe bag is also Leonie's. What is the tag for? Examine the Lacelle Brochure carefully.
Hint 4 — Lacelle Brochure
The tag is for Lacelle "Free Pointe" shoes in size 8.5 (see the Lacelle Brochure). We can assume Leonie wears these shoes.
The brochure also mentions Odessa's shoe size.
Examine Evidence #2107 (Footprint Evidence) and the Crime Scene Report.
Hint 5 — Lacelle Brochure
Evidence #2107 is a bloody bare footprint from Studio B (where Odessa was killed).
The footprint has been scaled by 50%. Figure out the true length of the footprint using the pink measuring tape (or any other measuring device you have on hand).
Solution — Lacelle Brochure
Leonie can be eliminated because her feet are longer than the killer's.
The image of the bloody footprint (which is half the size of the true footprint) is ~122mm long, which means the true footprint is ~244mm long.
This footprint is not Odessa's because Odessa's feet are 210mm long (see the Lacelle brochure) and she was wearing "ballet shoes" when she died (see the Autopsy Report).
If the footprint isn't Odessa's, it's the killer's, which means the killer's feet are ~244mm long.
Leonie wears Lacelle's "Free Pointe" shoes in size 8.5, which means her feet are 275mm long.
Leonie's feet are longer than the killer's, so Leonie can be eliminated.
The relevant evidence for eliminating Leonie is: the Shoe Tag (which gives Leonie's foot length) and the Footprint Evidence (which gives the length of the killer's foot.)

Hint 1 — The Kensington Chronicle
Have you figured out the password to the website www.odessaisperfect.com (referenced in Jonas' letter to Odessa)? If you haven't, go to the "Passwords" section for hints on accessing this website. Once you've accessed the website, read all posts carefully.
Hint 2 — The Kensington Chronicle
Odessa was murdered on January 13th, 2023, between 3PM and 3:15PM. Jonas wrote a blog post on January 13th, 2023 — read it carefully.

Read the Kensington Chronicle carefully. Can you find anything in it that corroborates Jonas' alibi? (See Jonas' post from January 13th on odessaisperfect.com for his alibi.)

If you don't know the address of En Pointe Toronto Ballet (where Odessa was murdered), check the Crime Scene Report or the En Pointe Toronto Ballet brochure.
Solution — The Kensington Chronicle
Odessa was killed sometime between 3:00-3:15PM (see the Crime Scene report).
Jonas blogged on January 13th, 2023, about a squirrel attacking someone at Bellevue Square Park. He included a time stamped photo of the incident, confirming he was at Bellevue Square Park at 2:51PM.
There is an article about a soup cart in the Kensington Chronicle. The article quotes a patron who says it took him over an hour to travel from Rosedale Clinic (located at 890 Holbrook Lane—see the Rosedale Clinic ad) to Bellevue Square Park. En Pointe Toronto Ballet (where Odessa was murdered) is located at 914 Holbrook Lane near the Rosedale Clinic (see the Crime Scene Report or En Pointe Toronto Ballet brochure).
Since it takes over an hour to drive from Bellevue Square Park to En Pointe Toronto Ballet, Jonas couldn't have been at Bellevue at 2:51PM and killed Odessa between 3PM to 3:15PM.

Hint 4 — Stick Figure Dancers Note
The stick figure dancers note references a "gala", which the Executive Meeting Agenda says was on December 22nd, 2022. This note is addressed to "X" from "M". We can infer "X" and "M" are Xander and Maya.
Xander's decrypted message to Maya says: "can’t first cast follow up that day how about next", which tells us Xander's "first cast follow up" was on December 22nd, 2022.
Read the Fracture Clinic Follow-Up notes carefully.
Hint 5 — Stick Figure Dancers Note
The Fracture Clinic Follow-Up notes say a dancer from En Pointe Toronto Ballet injured their "right distal radius" (wrist), had a cast applied, and had an initial follow-up appointment 7 days after the cast was applied. The notes say the cast will remain on for at least 5-6 weeks.
Xander's first follow-up appointment was on December 22nd, which means his cast was applied on December 15th, 2022, and would remain on until January 19th, 2023 (at least).
Read the Autopsy Report and Crime Scene Report carefully. How was Odessa's body moved?
Hint 6 — Stick Figure Dancers Note
The autopsy report implies Odessa's killer dragged Odessa by both ankles.
Solution — Stick Figure Dancers Note
Xander can be eliminated because he couldn’t have dragged Odessa — his right wrist was fractured and in a cast.
The Autopsy Report and Crime Scene Report imply the killer dragged Odessa by her ankles after killing her.
Xander’s encrypted reply to Maya says he can’t meet before the December 22nd gala (see Executive Meeting Agenda) because of his first cast follow-up. According to the Fracture Clinic Notes, the first follow-up occurs 7 days after the cast is applied, and healing takes 5–6 weeks. That places Xander’s cast application on December 15th, with the earliest removal date on January 19th — 6 days after Odessa’s murder on January 13th.
The relevant evidence for eliminating Xander is: the Fracture Clinic Follow-Up Note (giving the minimum healing time for Xander's fracture), and Xander's Letter to Maya (giving the date of his first follow-up cast appointment).
